By now the album’s corporate-satire engine is fully warm, and “All Change Is Painful” is its sharpest piece yet, a takedown of change-speak that lands because it commits to the bit. The track opens tense and brooding in a major key before it snaps into a power-chord drive, and the genius is in the lyric: “Adapt. Align. Absorb. Obey / You’ll thank us all someday” is the kind of line that sticks in your teeth. That spoken-word interlude welcoming you to the “Attitude Pillar” could have felt gimmicky, but it sells the dystopian HR-handbook tone instead, and the cold cut to “If it isn’t broke” at the end is a perfect mic-drop. Proof these guys can write with a knife.
