The conceit here is sharper than it first appears: the specter isn’t a ghost haunting someone else, it’s the narrator questioning whether they ever mattered at all, and that pivot in the bridge, ‘I swore I mattered, but did I,’ reframes everything that came before it. PCBender builds the track in C# minor at a tempo that feels more urgent than the ballad opening suggests, and the crash into full instrumentation around the 55-second mark earns its drama without overselling it. The outro, just a hushed ‘Shh… it’s okay,’ lands with the quiet confidence of someone who knows when to stop talking.
